New York Agenda want to share with you first Highlights From BDNY 2017: Best of This Year Design Show. Over the past years, Boutique Design New York (BDNY) became a leading trade fair and conference for hospitality business professionals in the New York. This year event was rich with rigorous and extremely talented design professionals and experts, many design lovers, more than 7800 hospitality designers, architects, purchasing executives, owners and operators.
Day One was filled with incredible energy! And, as the second and final day had began, here’s our look back at some of the moments and exhibitors that, in our opinion, made BDNY worth visiting!

Let´s start with COVET design group, created by and formed of designers & specialists that aim to fulfill the void in the design industry. Group was founded by several European design brands such as– Boca do Lobo, DelightFULL, BRABBU, KOKET and Maison Valentina. That´s why this year Booth 844 was a place where designers, architects, press, bloggers and field experts had came together for a design celebration.

DelightFULL (Booth 844)
One of most waited exhibitors this year was – DelightFULL. In partnership with Covet, lighting brand took its exquisite handmade mid-century modern design pieces to New York. DelightFULL is one of our favorite mid-centuty style lighting brands. Through the years, DelightFULL has always surprised its clients and fans of the brand. From clear designs to some more bold bets, their pieces reflect a personality, a state of mind and strong emotions that are present in every detail.
Brands designers had managed to combine history, music and creativity in every single piece of lighting exhibited so their handcrafted pieces. This year DelightFULL, had exhibited a broad selection of high quality lighting designs inspired by the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s Soul and Jazz music, designed for the hospitality interiors and their already legendary mid-century design pieces.
Essential Home (Booth 844)
In partnership with DelightFULL, another great mid-century modern furniture and lighting company Essential Home were present at BDNY. Entire Booth 844 was filled with amazing and inspiring contemporary lighting and furniture pieces, perfect for residential and commercial spaces interiors.

Baker Interiors (Booth 1228)
From luxurious guest suites and lobbies, to restaurants, spas and outdoor furniture – Baker brought curated collections of timeless design to BDNY this year. Company offered luxurious materials and lasting quality products ranging from hospitality to contract settings.

Lladró (Booth 1028)
Every Spanish brand Lladró piece of work is the result of a laborious artistic process. Company had presented their new porcelain art objects. Lladró sculptors follow their own inspiration but also perform, if the work requires it, a meticulous process of research and documentation.
Michael Aram (Booth 1220)
American born artist Michael Aram this year had filled Booth 1220. His collection of objects ranged from tableware to furniture. Designer´s works are sold both in galleries and specialty stores worldwide.
His work reflects humanity through the directness of the handmade process, as each piece is lovingly made using age old traditional techniques. Dis you visited his Booth this year?
