First of all, sorry for our title, because there won´t be any Interior designers All-Star Game. However, as a rookie, you should pay respect to these big fellas. True sharks on the industry, with innovative, creative and glamorous aesthetics, these are the professionals that love the game and will forever be immortalized. They all have something similar. Honored by Architectural Digest they all go down in history, as one of the revolutionaries of interior design. So? Are you gonna ball with them or just play sidelines?
With no further delay, here is our Hall of Fame.

From New York City to Hangzhou, China, her project portfolio encompasses luxe, beautifully layered urban apartments, expansive town and country residences, private airplanes, and yachts. Regularly named to Architectural Digest’s AD100, House Beautiful’s Top Designer list, and Elle Decor’s A-List, Hampton translates the classical principles of good design and decoration into some of today’s most elegant, enduring, and functional domestic landscapes.
Michael S. Smith Inc.
Michael Smith is considered one of the most original and respected talents in the design industry today. With an international profile of residential, hospitality and commercial clients, Smith’s style is a seamless blend of European classicism and American modernism—always fresh, always evolving, always underscored by the belief that everyone should live with things they love.
He possesses a curator’s knowledge of and appreciation for the past, nurtured by studies at the Victoria and Albert Museum and extensive work in the antiques business. Whether in designing his own collection or in the interiors he creates for his clients, a deep respect for tradition—viewed through a modern eye—is ever-present.
Waldo’s Design
For decades Waldo has been synonymous with L.A. sophistication and savoir-faire, astutely mixing distinctive furnishings and artworks in cosmopolitan yet eminently comfortable homes for celebrities from Elizabeth Taylor to Tobey Maguire.
He further makes his mark on the city by reimagining such institutions as the restaurant Spago and the Forum, the storied former sports arena the designer is helping to revive as an elite concert venue.
And with his growing international commissions (including an outpost of Wolfgang Puck’s high-style chophouse Cut at the forthcoming Four Seasons in Bahrain), the rest of the world is getting a taste of Waldo’s irrepressible spirit.
