Keith Langham’s motivating factor is fun. And the way Langham has fun is to make the world stop and gasp (ever so politely) at his interiors. While this form of entertainment can take many different forms—from outrageously oversized bucolic interiors to excessively embroidered hallways to tie-dye curtains floating in the wind—Langham is dedicated to creating masterpieces.
The Alabama-raised Langham began favoring a stylistic English-toned sensibility in the 80s—first at Parsons and FIT, and then with Mark Hampton and Irvine & Fleming. After he started his own firm in 1990, the creative energy grew exponentially.
While he can be humble with clients, he has worked with some of the most fabled, including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who said to him, “You have a sorcerer’s eye. How lucky I am to be a beneficiary.” While Langham is open to new clients and can keep to a budget, most budgets tend to be capacious.
In addition to interior decorating, Langham has also designed party décor- the black and white ball for the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut as well as the Boys Club of New York at The Plaza Hotel.
His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Vogue, Veranda, W, House Beautiful, Hamptons Magazine, Palm Beach Cottages and Gardens, Southern Accent.
