Jesse Carrier and Mara Miller, the husband and wife duo behind Carrier and Company Interiors Ltd., are creating utterly chic yet comfortable rooms adored by fashion designers and media moguls alike. Carrier and Company interiors nod toward understatement.
They are known for creating exquisitely detailed yet comfortable and personalized spaces. They were responsible for doing the decor of this Southampton, NY unique house.
In the ten years since founding their company, they’ve become the go-to decorators for some of the biggest names in fashion and media, including designer Jason Wu, MTV cofounder Robert Pittman, actress Jessica Chastain, and producer Jane Rosenthal. Their stylish work is now compiled in their first book, Carrier and Company: Positively Chic Interiors (The Vendome Press, $60), which features a foreword by Vogue editor in chief and Carrier and Co. client Anna Wintour. From sleek urban apartments to rustic country homes, the inspiring projects showcase the firm’s versatility and commitment to designing spaces that are beautiful and functional.
