Mr. Mallea, 53, and Mr. Maloney, 55, founded M (Group), an architecture and interior design firm in New York. Mr. Mallea is an architect and Mr. Maloney an interior designer.

They were married by Elizabeth Bonsal, a Connecticut justice of the peace.

Mr. Mallea graduated from the University of Miami. He is a son of the late Idalia López de Quintana and the late Hermes E. Mallea, who lived in Miami.

Mr. Maloney graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio and received an M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Ariz. He is a son of Kathleen Lamont Leaf of Beaumont, Tex., and the late Edward J. Maloney.
