Established in 1987 by Andrew Sheinman, Pembrooke & Ives has designed an extensive number of projects across the globe. 212 Fifth Avenue is an iconic neo-Gothic early skyscraper newly converted to forty-eight exceptional two, three and four bedroom condominium residences( designed by Pembrooke & Ives). Originally constructed as a manufacturing building, the architects designed the structure with open floor plates, high ceilings and oversized windows which created a foundation for dramatic, light flooded residential floor plans with the best of pre-war and contemporary design fused into one. This construction combines the cachet of Fifth Avenue with the iconic power of the area code (212) that really captures the mystique of Manhattan City.
Given the extraordinary dimensions of these private homes, Pembrooke & Ives take a surprisingly intimate approach to the lobby. Elegance and fanciness are two words that can describe this vision. The blue shade works in perfect sync with the gray, black and wooden walls.
