Arteriors, a manufacturer of lighting, furniture and accessories for residential and commercial customers, celebrates its 25th year of business this fall at What’s New, What’s Next, at New York Design Center, with expansions to its line – a collection of fireplace accessories – and a retrospective of past designs. One of the best design stores in NYC.
Since it was founded by Mark Moussa in 1987, Arteriors has grown from a traditional accessories importer to designer and wholesale resource that designs almost 400 products annually, including decorative accessories, lighting and furniture. At What’s New, What’s Next, attendees will see 25 of Moussa’s favorite pieces from the current Arteriors collection that represent some of the company’s strongest examples of product development, the company said.
For 25 years, our customers have looked to us for new trends in design and quick availability,” said Moussa. “This year we are continuing to innovate and expand our capabilities with two completely new categories: fireplace accessories, debuting at What’s New What’s Next, and sconces, to be introduced at High Point Market, North Carolina.”
The collection of eight decorative fireplace screens, eight andiron sets and a fireplace tool set features handworked metal in modern styles and classic antique finishes. They will be on display in the Arteriors showroom (#608) at the New York Design Center. A champagne celebration of the company’s anniversary will take place at 6 p.m. tomorrow.
The sconce collection, coming to High Point Market next month, reimagines 14 of the most popular Arteriors lighting styles—including the Zanadoo chandelier and the Pruitt floor lamp—in hardwired sconce format.
Now in its fifth year at the New York Design Center, What’s New, What’s Next is a comprehensive event including more than 65 participating showrooms featuring product introductions, lectures and book signings.
