New York Design Agenda decided share some places to go with your father this Father’s Day, on June 15, 2014!
Like was shared at NewYork.com you can go to Take Brunch in NYC at five awesome places your dad will love.
Take a look below! I’m sure that you will like it:
Yerba Buena
Tasty Latin food for Father’s Day brunch? Yes, please. At Julian Medina’s airy cafe in the East Village, succulent arepas are stuffed with barbecue short rib, pork belly, chicken tinga and — to give it that breakfast feel — eggs too.
Bea
From 11am to 4pm, Bea in Hell’s Kitchen has brunch for the cocktail-loving dad covered. Bartenders whip up specialty drinks for dads of all liquor persuasions — bourbon, gin, beer, vodka, etc. – including the bourbon and Campari-laden Boulevardier, the Over the Moon with rosemary-infused gin and Aperol, and the complex Bitter Viking, made with mezcal, Fernt Branca, ginger, and pale ale that indeed proves bitter.
It’s no secret that Southern-style brunch food appeals to dads. Is it the thick, sweet-and-savory buttermilk waffles? Plates of succulent fried chicken? Smoked pork hash or hearty dishes of shrimp and creamy grits? Or maybe it’s the cold pints of craft beer and whiskey-fueled breakfast cocktails.
Queens Comfort
Make daddy comfortable at this funky diner in Astoria. With menu items like Capt’N Crunch French toast, Egg McRuffin with tater tots and homemade buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips and bananas, brunch here has a nostalgic twinge that will remind you of childhood breakfasts at home.
Bleecker Kitchen & Co.
In the West Village, this industrial-meets-vintage cafe serves brunch from 11am to 5pm on the weekends, allowing dad to sleep in and still indulge in this important meal. Order a heaping plate of steak and eggs, which comes with fresh chimichurri and avocado, corn-flake French toast with homemade fruit compote and mascarpone, or crispy chicken and waffles with hot sauce and Vermont maple syrup. Heck, celebrate dad and order it all, after all he is half the force that gave you life.
