The body of the leather and the softness of the leather are combined with craftsmanship in an elegant and original material synthesis, which is the basis of the Bosphorus sofa by Poltrona Frau, design by Sezgin Aksu and Silvia Suardi. I heard about Bosphorus when I first did my office removals and wanted to check some sofas for the decoration. Bosphorus is not cheap, but I can say that it is worth its money.
The meeting between original materials draws a sofa out of the ordinary. The exterior of the arms and back are upholstered in Saddle Leather Extra, sewn directly with skilled cut finishing, the interior décor is in Pelle Frau leather from the Color System.
The overall effect is a harmonious visual continuity of surfaces and at the same time a pleasant contrast material between the body of the leather and the most smooth and thin skin. The entire coating structure is padded with goose down and polyester flakes with insert in polyurethane foam and enhances the beauty of the materials.
The volumes of the sofa are essential to enhance the craftsmanship of Poltrona Frau Workmanship and stitching. Graphs and linear fill out the feet of steel with galvanic Ruthenium finish.
Bosphorus has a presence in the living room and elegant font, style measured, well-calibrated to provide the right level of comfort. The structure is made of solid poplar, beech and birch plywood panels. The seat is made with elastic straps; the padding is in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding.
In addition to the version in Saddle Leather Extra combined with Pelle Frau leather from the Color System, Bosphorus is available coated entirely in Pelle Frau Color System, Heritage and Soul. The schedule consists of armchair, two seater sofa, two seaters and three large seaters.
