Celebrate Design With ODA New York – Founded in 2007, ODA is a New York-based firm that has quickly emerged as one of the most recognized firms of its generation. Through a range of projects, ODA seeks to reconcile the conditions of vertical urban living with the qualities which benefit and nurture us as human beings. Today, NYDA decided to present you some of their best projects. Take a look:

PRIVATE RESIDENCE
How does ODA New York avoid overwhelming when they are tasked to marry an incomparable art collection with 360-degree views of New York City while 72 stories above ground?
They focused the modern and minimalist interior spaces on the artworks, leaving the peripheral rooms to be absorbed by Manhattan views. As one of the largest penthouses in New York, they marry this floating art gallery in the sky with the city’s horizon to create an inimitable experience.
SKYHOUSE
Designed for entertaining, this Madison Avenue Penthouse evokes a minimalist, modern style with all the amenities sought in a rooftop apartment.
Complete with glass walls, outdoor bar, pool and Jacuzzi, the penthouse celebrates and accentuates the Manhattan view. Slabs of marble, onyx, and wood adorn the penthouse, through the three bedrooms, the master bathroom, and the living room.
WEST 22ND TOWNHOUSE
Located in Chelsea, W 22nd offers all the appeal of the traditional New York townhouse with none of the usual compromises.
A new entrance was created, allowing for the formation of a gym, sauna, theatre, and other amenities while retaining an organic façade and sustaining the dialogue with the rest of the block. The three full floors include six bedrooms with master bathrooms, and the entire top floor is spanned by a large skylight.
251 FIRST CONDOMINIUM
251 1st Street’s twisted geometrics highlight the corner’s transition from the main avenue to the residential side street. The design’s dissipating façade is positioned to appeal to 1st Street, personifying the forces that tug and pull at 4th Avenue.
Inside, 251 1st Street is a striking blend of artistry and optimism, flush with natural materials and rich textures. Sun-drenched and amenity-filled, each residence enjoys millwork detailing that parallels the building’s framework.
