To start 2013 nothing better than highlight DORMA’s recent International Group Conference (IGC) in Manhattan, and the excitement of the corporate opening of DORMA’s World of Access.

DORMA introduces its design center concept – a 360-degree experience in access technology located centrally in New York City. This spacious, beautifully appointed setting is a center of gravity for architects, designers, planners, and business partners. Interactive displays exhibit the right products for every project and every location, with industry experts on hand to advice on the best possible implementation. More than just a conventional showroom, DORMA’s design center features an innovative multimedia table, granting access to hassle-free technology with state of the art presentation.

World of Access is an unusual design resource, offering information, guidance and direct experience on doors, hardware and access technology to architects, designers, contractors and other members of New York’s vibrant design community.

The World of Access Design Center embodies contemporary design, including an 8,500 square foot space built of glass and steel and furnished with classic pieces by Vitra, USM Haller and Knoll. It is equipped with full video capabilities and a database of case studies that make it possible to see and feel how DORMA products will work in actual projects. Visitors benefit from the assistance of staff members who possess deep architectural and design experience.
