In 2011, Georgia took the first steps forward and created her own empire dedicated to the interior design full service. Georgia Tapert Howe is an absolute artist and the proof sits on the amazing projects she keeps on presenting to the world. Eccentric at heart, the designer brings the client’s vision to reality, combining always her unique design identity, without a question. It all began through her work experience in furniture design, within production and retail.
The interior designer felt her talent grow while working on interior design inspirations such as David Easton, Mica Ertegun, and Haynes-Roberts. After gaining that amazing experience, in 2007, she opened her own home boutique, Georgia Tapert Living, in downtown Manhattan. Within a year, she launched Carolina George, furniture, fabric, and interior design firm in New York City.
In 2011, Georgia Tapert Howe moved to Los Angeles and took a major step forward when she created her own full-service interior design company. This design firm granted her with the status of Elle Décor’s Rising Stars, and recently a nomination on the Elle Décor A-List 2019. These are great events that give the designer a massive prestigious level, that’s completely worth it.
The interior designer’s projects are mainly focused on residential interiors, that feature the concept of classic elegance, with a modern touch and amazing practicality. Through her extensive experience of more than 15 years, Georgia brings a refreshing view to the interior design, breaking through every boundary.
