ICFF 2018 has come and gone in a heartbeat. After such anticipation in the previous weeks, the four-day design filled trade show, in the city that never sleeps, didn’t disappoint and was the home for many debuting trends and for the most beautiful furniture pieces.
Jacob K. Javits Convention Center received many famous names in the industry and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair was an absolute blast. Adding to the big players that took a roll on the four-day trade show course, it was the stage chosen to introduce many fresh design trends.
Introducing brand new designs and junior names of the market, the 2018 New York Edition of ICFF was the perfect union between the modern and contemporary world. This year also featured a fashion collection, capsule collection and new collaborations.

The largest line-up comprising the city’s annual celebration of design NYCxDesign, ICFF is one of the most exciting events in the Design World Agenda.
Handcrafted design and brands were in a big display this year!
Post and Gleam is a Los Angeles based brand that crafts their pieces locally, inspired by Mid-Century design.
This year the French area of ICFF featured a series of vignettes highlighting different designers and aesthetics.
When mentioning the best highlights of the season, the return of wall covering is an mandatory part. Announced as one of the interior design trends of this year, new styles of wallpaper are making an appearance and reviving the world of walls. Lincrusta’s presence at ICFF gave new meaning to this and brought a new process into it – deep and dramatic textures were the ones who stole the scene.
Covet House‘s booth 1719 was another example of great handcrafted designs. With pieces out of the many brands of Covet Group, the stand debuted many trends and new design pieces that are a call to craftsmanship and luxury design.
And, of course, we can’t mention ICFF without giving a nod to its powerful and exciting ICFF Talks – a set of conferences regarding the new and most interesting topics in design today! This year’s edition featured very special pieces from BRABBU on stage – six Nº20 | WHITE BAR CHAIR!
A pretty great sitting place to present topics such as Art x Design, Decorative Lighting Ideas, Looks Matter! The Powerful Role Decor Plays In The Real Estate Market and The Impact of The Internet on The Interior Design Profession – just to name a few!
