Get Inspired: The Wayfarer Restaurant in Manhattan opened in 2014 in the lobby of the Quin Hotel. Its airy and sophisticated setting located on the bustling corner of 57th street and 6th Avenue just below the Central Park. This American Grill serve fresh takes on American classic dishes.
Through the floor to ceiling windows Wayfarer´s guests can overlook the hustle and bustle of New York City and enjoy the wood-and-leather interior inspired by Gotham’s old-line gentlemen’s clubs.
The mid-century modern lighting is complementing this retro-chic interior perfectly. Chandeliers with glossy black exterior and a matte black interior finishing not only provide a perfect ambient light, but serve as accent décor pieces.
Restaurant´s oyster bar, second floor lounge and three private dining rooms can be used individually or combined to provide a perfect space for corporate breakfast, lunch and dinner meetings, birthday and engagement parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.
The Wayfarer is famous for its diverse artisanal menu and focus on locally sourced ingredients. Restaurant offer Braden Reardon (BLT Steak), raw-bar items (Jonah crab claws, littleneck clams), Ecuadoran prawns with lime salsa, and Belgian Dover sole with caper-and-parsley beurre monté, the seafood lovers can opt for whole roasted lobster and San Francisco-style cioppino.
Custom cocktails like the Columbus Side Car (raisin-infused Louis Royer Force 53, fennel agave, apricot liqueur and Black Mission fig bitters) and the Man About Town (Woodford Reserve, green chartreuse, Carpano Antica, Scotch rinse) created by the award-winning mixologist Christian Sanders, cofounder of Evelyn Drinkery, complement the menu.
