New York City’s spring design fairs always promise a dazzling array of dynamic new products, and this year did not disappoint. From the angular sensation of Cassina‘s Boxblocks, which commissions computer-controlled jacquard looms to create unique geometric patterns so that no two pieces are alike, to the foam-padded Mellow sofa designed by Océane Delaine for Bernhardt, bedecked with 21 hand-carved maple buttons that allow one to change the firmness and appearance of the seat by adjusting the tension of connected cords, here are 10 spectacularly inventive new products from NYCxDESIGN.
