“LaGuardia Airport’s new Central Terminal B will provide a state-of-the-art passenger terminal and modern New York travel experience”. HOK will be part of the process of creating an airport design that links style with function. HOK is also providing master planning advisory services for LaGuardia in collaboration with the Port Authority and Delta Air Lines, which operates Terminal C and D on the airport’s east end.
“HOK’s design for a luxurious renovation of guest rooms and public space will ensure the five-star Al Faisaliah Hotel remains Saudi Arabia’s marquee destination for sophisticated travelers.” In winning an international design competition for the project, HOK presented Al Khozama and its chairman, Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al Saud, a solution to incorporate innovative technology and create an oasis of calm that targets upscale business travelers well-versed in fine detail and amenities.
Basra, nicknamed the financial capital of Iraq and being Iraq’s second largest metropolis, is the first city to achieve building an impressive new stadium. This stadium’s amazing scale and standard sends a strong signal that Iraq is reappearing on the global sports map. The design of the marquee venue reflects local architectural influences, recalling a proud past while serving as a bridge to a modern era.
Limelight Condominiums is the latest addition to the Daniels Corporation’s Mississauga City Centre West planned community. “HOK is known for their impeccable style and spectacular attention to detail. Their creative vision is illuminated at Limelight, where they have designed brilliant interior spaces that harmonize environmental sustainability with elegance for a look that is truly unique.”
“HOK’s conservation work at the King’s Library British Museum won the prestigious Stirling Awards Crown Estate Conservation Award.” The project provided the British Museum with a new exhibition space devoted to the Enlightenment period while keeping interventions to the historic Grade I building to a minimum. Its architecture and décor were not only respected, but enhanced.
