The International Contemporary Furniture Fair is a moment all design in North America becomes enthusiastic about the new trends.
There’s a brand which we’ll expect to blow our minds away with some exquisite design made with feathers, black luxurious velvet, and with breath taking armoire with gold brass, and pink velvet backgrounds. An extreme concept of feminine luxury created on a furniture brand: Koket – Love Happens.
Why Love Happens? Because you’ll fall in love the moment you see their fantastic pieces. Let’s see some previews from Koket to the ICFF:
Designed with a huge admiration and influence of the French decorative arts, the Mademoiselle Armoire will transport you to another world in a crazy beautiful kind of way.
Butterfly design and handler in polished brass over a silk lining opening to an interior covered in gold leaf with high-gloss varnish, 9 antique mirror drawers and 2 adjustable glass shelves.
From the antique fashioned mirrors to the delicate detailed patterns, this temptress will have more than her fair share of lovers shielding themselves behind her screen. The enticing artwork is balanced against slender golden pillars casting the object as a standing temptress awaiting her prey.
KOKET & The Global Fund for Widows is honored to unveil the stunning and opulent Camilia. Designed passionately and exquisitely by the incomparable talents powering Koket, the Camilia was created to grace the most regal of dining rooms with its elegance and splendor.
Inspired by the aristocratic palaces of the Alexandrian pashas of Egypt, the mother of pearl Camilia is crowned by artisan hand-carved peacock, meticulously engraved and delicately finished in gold leaf. It is only fitting that the Camilia’s treasures be concealed by the most graceful of keys.
Perhaps most intriguing is that the Camila was created in passionate support of widows and female heads of households in the developing world. Koket’s personal commitment to bringing an end to the vicious cycle of poverty – by empowering the most vulnerable of the poor through skills based training, education, access to employment, and access to micro-capital – have culminated in the creation of this statement piece.
