3 WORLD TRADE CENTER
3WTC is open for business and is more than a building. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, 3 WTC is instantly recognizable by its iconic “K” brace, the building’s external steel framing, while seamlessly integrating into the triumphant community of World Trade Center architecture. The developer was Silverstein Properties. Tower 3 at 175 Greenwich Street was designed to be a new commercial skyscraper and the construction cost $900 million.

The sculptural design – two copper-clad towers that bend in the middle to meet at a skybridge – brings a new dynamism to an overlooked area of the city.
