Many famous people have stayed at The Carlyle Hotel, one of New York’s most famous hotels.
The hotel was originally built in 1930, and over the years has undergone a number of modifications and alterations. To remain true to its origins, the Art Deco impact of the original design by Dorothy Draper and Bien & Prince architects has been preserved.
The guest rooms were restored by Tonychi Studio in 2019 with opulent and contemporary upgrades, merging elegance and comfort. The hotel has four dining options, a spa, a salon, a fitness facility, and event rooms are all included.
The Greenwich Hotel, created by Axel Vervoordt and Tatsuro Miki, debuted in 2008 and is owned by Robert De Niro, who had a significant impact on the design as well.
The property itself is jam-packed with undiscovered gems and, at its core, promotes great craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from numerous cultures and geographical areas. The ceiling beams, doors, and paneling throughout the hotel were all made of reclaimed wood from the American Civil War. The lobby’s marble and terracotta floors were modeled after an Italian palazzo from the fourteenth century. Each book was produced by Italian artists using the same techniques as the original tilemakers.
Each guest room has a distinctive design. A 250-year-old, painstakingly restored Japanese farmhouse surrounds the spa. Di Nero’s personal fireplace served as inspiration for the large stone fireplace in the dining area. This house is meticulously and carefully planned, with no detail spared.
The hotel has 88 guest rooms and suites, a spa, and Locanda Verde as its restaurant. It also contains a lounge, patio, pool, gym, and other amenities that are all uniquely and individually built while still retaining a unified, hospitable appearance.
Another iconic New York building is the Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side. The hotel, which is housed in a 1927 Art Deco structure, underwent a makeover by Jacques Grange and Spivak Architects in 2009. The design combines avant-garde design, classic New York flair, and 5-star luxury amenities with old-world comfort. Every piece of furniture and decoration was handcrafted specifically for the hotel.
The chic and modern hotel has 157 guest rooms and suites as well as a restaurant and bar run by acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The 1895 neo-gothic structure, which had been a seminary, was transformed into the lovely Highline Hotel in 2013 by Roman and Williams.
By preserving the original exterior, stained glass windows, intricate fireplace mantel, original moldings, and a large portion of the flooring, they preserved the building’s character and heritage. while giving it fresh life with an eclectic fusion of interiors with American and European influences. In order to give the space a comfortable and lived-in sense, they acquired old furniture to combine with modern upgrades.
There are 60 lovely guest rooms at the hotel, as well as the lobby bar, Ingeligensia coffee bar, and cocktail garden with a Parisian flair.
We are sure that after seeing these luxury hotel interior designs, you have gained the desire to visit them and stay there for a season.
