Maison et Objet 2015: “Eco-deco” Products

Today’s post is all about our selection of the best new gear unveiled at Maison&Objet – from furniture, lighting and eco-deco products. Sustainable furniture design is an effort to address the environmental impact of furniture products on the environment by considering all aspects of the design and manufacturing process. Design considerations can include using recycled materials in the manufacturing process and using products that can be disassembled and recycled after their useful life. Sustainable furniture design strives to create a closed-loop cycle in which materials and products are perpetually recycled so as to avoid disposal in landfills. Each one hand picked by us, especially for you.

Because sustainability is not a trend but a pillar of the art of living, MAISON&OBJET is rolling out the famous Green Itinerary: with each session, its demanding selection of “eco-deco” products and approaches is made by a jury of independent journalists. Local production, eco-design, recyclable materials, ethical and fair-trade approaches …

I trully think that this is the future of interior design… and you?
