Agra, India, is a city of many enchantments. Among passionate travellers and historians worldwide it is known for unique Moghul-era buildings, including most notably the Taj Mahal – to all a symbol of eternal love.
For Brabbu‘s designers the magnificient structure became an inspiration due to the balance of the delicate lines sculpted from the robust white stone and the undeniable blend of elegance and strength.
“In 1631, when his wife died in childbirth, the emperor Shah Jahan brought to Agra the most skilled craftsmen from all Asia and even Europe, to build the white marble mausoleum that is the Taj Mahal. He intended to build a black marble mausoleum for himself, and the link between the two was to be a silver bridge.”
AGRA is the modest setting of one of the most famous and most celebrated monuments in world, the Taj Mahal, also known as the marble mausoleum. AGRA dining table, just like Taj Mahal, is an impressive display of craftsmanship and elegance. Its delicate work of the robust white stone softens the imposing structure, while touches of brass reflect golden warm tones to the polished surface.
The conical base of the AGRA dining table is sectioned by a brass ring, reminiscent of the four minarets springing from the plinth of the Taj Mahal and standing like sentries nobly keeping guard.
