Established by Martin Brudnizki in 2000, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio (MBDS) provides a variety of services including interior architecture and design as well as furniture and lighting design. The Studio’s main work focuses on the hospitality and retail sectors wherein it creates hotels, bars, restaurants and private clubs worldwide. For a select number of private clients, the Studio also works to create their dream homes.

MBDS is responsible for designing some of the world’s most celebrated interiors, including The Ivy, Soho Beach House Miami, Scott’s and Cecconi’s West Hollywood and has received notable recognition, including accolades from Wallpaper*, Tatler, Harper’s Bazaar and the European Hotel Design Awards.

Over the years, MBDS’ sophisticated, modern and efficient interiors have been deemed “architecturally innovative and breathtakingly beautiful” with Martin Brudnizki commended for his considered approach to every project.

Combining the utmost respect for a client’s brief with an understanding of the unique character of the area or street in which a project is located, the Studio is able to ensure that the finished product not only sits well within its environment, but also meets the needs and expectations of its clients; a winning combination which has translated perfectly to projects ranging from high-voltage glamour locations to affordable local restaurants to private residences.

With its main office located in London, MBDS opened a second Studio in New York in late 2009 to meet growing international demand and to better facilitate projects located in the US and surrounding geographies. Today, the business employs nearly 50 staff worldwide.
