I came across Michael Haverland on his website and I found his work outstanding, especially his ability to be original with certain design element. This mid century filled duplex really stood out to me, a place I could call home. It’s totally my style. And New York’s too.
Who couldn’t love these spaces with pieces by such names as Eero Saarinen, Alexander Girard, George Nakashima, Pierre Guariche, Edward Wormley, Yngve Ekstrom, Charlotte Perriand, Poul Kaerholm and Florence Knoll, wow that was a lot of name dropping. Maybe a modern touch from Delightfull Unique Lamps is missing, but this is one of my guilty pleasures…
This image truly reminds me a visit I did to 1st Dibs Gallery in Lexington Avenue, NYC. BG Galleries, from Peter Levis, expose some of the most famous pieces such as the featured here.
Amazing vintage and veryyyy comfortable chairs.
The balanced contrast between the dark tones is very well conveived. This place is just charming and comfortable.
This sideboard is just the most lovely piece I found on this project. Simply perfect.
