Located nearby New York, New Rochelle is a city where next redesign project of know designer Danielle Colding tooks place. The new interiors were design in unique colonial building situated on a wooded street. The main inspiration for the incoming interior decor of the house was client’s eclectic art collection.
With the characteristic for Danielle Colding’s project “more is more” approach, redone was complex and layered. The already existing mix of vintage and modern furniture was used in a first place. Over the course of the project the designer added new pieces. A fresh colors palette was created in order to show attitudes of both old and new furniture.

Cooperation between client and designer was smooth therefore when fabric were chosen redesign started. Starting points of the project were the main rooms and only after accomplishing this part rest of the house was redesigned. The frosting on the cake was an indoor/outdoor sun-room. The outcome is outstanding.
After redone interiors are dynamic combinations of the eclectic, vintage and modern styles. The ambiance of comfort and freshness was established.
