NYDesign Agenda wants to take you into an amazing design tour, where you’ll be able to find the best about design and architecture in New York City. We’re going to follow the footsteps of some incredible European brands, like Boca do Lobo, DelightFULL, KOKET and Brabbu, as these meet with the best names in the industry. Our first stop in our tour will be with DDC Minotti; they’re a leading source of contemporary furniture design. This group offers an incredible selection of home and contract furniture, lighting and accessories. They want that their spaces to be beautiful, comfortable and to provide a room with self-expression.
DDC Minotti mission is “to provide excellent design, inspiration and ease when furnishing your space”. Their goal is to provide experiences and to inspire.
This group have already made some incredible projects, like “Ocean Breezes”, “200 chambers” and “Clound 9” – and the lists keeps on going – and have work to incredible names. DDC Minotti is one of the most notorious design group in NYCity.
After visiting DDC Minotti, our next stop will be with Baltimore Design Center. This group already counts with more than 25 years of experience and Keith Baltimore’s style tries to reflect his clients unique style and taste. With a thematic signature which is based on a modern vision, state-of-the-art technology, products and exotic materials.
Baltimore Design Center have a large portfolio with notorious residential, commercial and hospitality work.
Our tour is already in the middle and we’re going to stop now to meet David Rockwell, an architect and designer, but also the founder and president of Rockwell Group, a 250-person award winning, cross-disciplinary architecture and design practice with satellite offices in Madrid and Shanghai.
David philosophy is “driven by a deep curiosity about the world”, which allows the company to keep open to possibilities to their clients, but also to themselves. This interdisciplinary group have focus on innovation and tries to create extraordinary experiences and built environments all over the world.
After our fantastic meeting with Mr. Baltimore, we met Stonehill & Taylor Architects, PC. This architecture and interior design firm was founded in 1986 in New York City and is the sucessor firm of Lundquist and Stonehill. Their team tries to offer a design experience in new building construction, additions, renovations and interior design.
Stonehill & Taylor Architects main focus is in hospitality, healthcare and academic facilities. With a collaborative approach to design, the team aims to offer a unique and innovative solution in each project that they develop. Their protfolio already counts with luxury projects, from five star hotels to state-of-the-art health and science facilities, but also with prototype designs and branding campaigns.
The group doesn’t count with a design signature, due to their belief in focusing the design process in attending the client needs and wishes and also in innovation.
The day is already over, but we can’t miss Isamel Leya Architects. This group has founded in 1996 and has grown internationally, being known as na architeture, interior design and urban planing firm. Their distinguishing points are their creativity, iconic and pratical design.
