After leaving a career in fashion with Pierre Cardin to pursue his creative ambitions for interior architecture, Yovanovitch established his design firm in 2001. Yovanovitch launched his own furniture brand, Pierre Yovanovitch Mobilier, in May 2021. During this time, the designer also opened the doors to his first furniture exhibition space in Paris.

The distinctive haute couture aesthetic of Yovanovitch blends his command of forms, proportions, and light with a special preference for unfinished and polished materials. His dedication to great craftsmanship results in work that combines unmatched savoir-faire quality with a distinctive aesthetic. Yovanovitch has offices in Paris and New York City, and his work range from residential to commercial to hotel to set design.
This studio is located in New York City and has a modern and very cozy atmosphere. A great place to be able to work with the greatest possible comfort and the right atmosphere.
In Portugal’s Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can find the Quinta Da Corte hotel and vineyard. Philippe Austruy hired Yovanovitch once more to convert the XIXth-century property into a boutique hotel and winery after the two collaborated on the design of his home in Brussels. Yovanovitch and his team set out to restore the estate by reinventing the house as a boutique hotel and starting from scratch to develop a new cellar and wine-tasting facility. Using a variety of styles, including obscure midcentury vintage and eye-catching custom pieces of his own design, Yovanovitch produced interiors that were infused with both a dreamy nostalgia and a casual sophistication.
