Each season, the representatives of the Pantone Color Institute selected the top colors that are bound to be a trend in the fashion and design industries. The Pantone’s Top 10 Fall Colours 2017 is all almost here, and today, Coveted brings you a sneak peek, take a look.
Pantone’s founder, Lawrence Herbert developed an ingenious system of identifying, matching and communicating colors in order to find the answer regardings problems of color accuracy within the graphic arts community. Herbert believes that each individual sees and interprets this spectrum in a different manner, lead to the innovation of the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM®.
Ever since then, Pantone has expanded its color matching system concept to other industries, including digital technology, textiles, plastics, architecture and contract interiors, and paint. The Institute continuously develops color communication tools for this a wide variety of industries while also adopting new digital technology to the color needs of design and production professionals.
“Bookended by a dynamic Grenadine red and a tawny Autumn Maple, the color palette for Fall 2017 leans more to warmth,” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “While comforting, enveloping colors and ease are crucial to the seasonal feeling, standout shades include a pale pink Ballet Slipper, a refreshing Golden Lime, and a bright Marina blue.

A powerful, evocative, dynamic red, Grenadine is a confident and self-assured attention-getter. Ellen by Essential Home follows the same style.
