Once the SIXTY Soho New York Hotel was the 60 Thompson Hotel, located exactly on that address, in the heart of Soho. You will first notice the small terrace surrounded by flowers. A doorman opens the door for you and tells you he will bring the luggage up to your room while you’re checking in at the first floor. You’ll immediately notice the main goal of the hotel when you enter the lobby. The view of the neighbourhood is amazing and that’s exactly what they like to do: bring the outside in to the hotel.

You’ll see the typical buildings mirroring into the lobby, while you have a view over the whole city when you sleep at one of the top floors or have a cocktail at their rooftop terrace – only open for guests. The hotel is luxurious (try the bathrobe in your room and you’ll never want to leave) and quiet. You can get some work done in the lobby easily. There’s a bar, The Gordon Bar, next to the lobby and a restaurant Sessanta downstairs. An Italian restaurant with a pretty amazing atmosphere they describe as Midcentury Italy.
