Kips Bay Decorator Show House

Kips Bay Decorator Show House takes place from May 2nd until May 30th and welcomes twenty-three of the most acclaimed interior designers to remodel a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art and technology.
On its 47th Edition, Kips Bay is arguably one of the most important show house within the design community and serves as a rite of passage for new and veteran interior designers. Inside this years’ gorgeous New York Upper East Side, 22 rooms ranging from the backyard space to the house’s fifth and final floor.
And how did it come about?
In 1973 several supporters of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club launched the Kips Bay Decorator Show House to raise funds for New York City children. Over the last forty years this project has grown into a exciting event for all design enthusiasts and is renowned for sparking interior design trends throughout the whole wide world.

Since its start, the Show House has raised over $21,000,000 for Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, which currently reaches over 10,000 young people at nine locations throughout the Bronx.
