The firm’s first monograph, True Life (Princeton Architectural Press, 2010) showcases twenty-five years of acclaimed residential work.
Besides dozens of NYC-area townhouses and apartments, the firm has designed homes all over the world, in locations as far-flung as South Africa, Mexico, Croatia, and Vietnam. Multi-unit residential, hospitality, and retail are also part the SHA repertoire.
Ongoing projects include a Long Island beach house constructed of glass and board-formed concrete, luxury condominiums in Tribeca and Chelsea, a home for a San Diego car collector overlooking the Pacific Coast, and the renovation of a historic Edward Durrell stone house in upstate New York.
